The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Across the Central Park is 'The Met'.  It is one of the largest art museums in the world. We walked over to check it out.

Still Life with Banderillas, by Braque.

Braque's work is virtually indistinguishable from Picasso's paintings of the same time. The two spent the summer of 1911 together in Céret, a small town popular with artists in the French Pyrenees, where they explored the formal elements of what later became known as Cubism.
