Connecticut & Boston

We left our comfy flat on the Upper West Side in New York, and took a train up to Fairfield in Connecticut to spend a couple of days with Eva's parents MaryEllen and Michael. The blending of the two families is going very well. Eva and Callum are getting married in Australia in October 2024.

And then on to Boston on the Amtrak train. Comfortable and fast. The landscape was reminiscent of southern England.

We did a student-led guided tour of Harvard University.

We attended a Boston Tea Party re-enactment with actors, lots of 'Huzzahs' and some throwing of tea into the harbour.

There was not a clear opportunity for me to tell the crowd that they were making a big mistake, and that the US constitution would be forever flawed as a result, as I have previously written.
